Cascais, May 2026

I’ve worked with Lyle for about 20 years and he’s been absolutely brilliant in caring for both my back and my husband’s. We’ve both had quite serious issues over the years, including my husband’s very severe back surgery, and I’ve actually had a maintenance program with him, sometimes visiting monthly to ensure everything continues to function as it should. He always provides clear follow-up guidance and encourages you to return whenever needed, which is very reassuring. His reception staff are superb, making you feel at ease, explaining everything, and showing you to the room. The price feels like very good value and exactly what I would expect, and I highly recommend him.

I've been seeing Sabrina since September, twice a week, and I'm very happy with the service. She is a very knowledgeable chiropractor, I entirely trust her, and I have the impression she is treating me exactly how I need to be treated with personalized sessions. The entire practice is very professionally run, very friendly, very client oriented, always on time, and she has a warm and welcoming personality. I've never used a chiropractor before so I can't compare prices - it's not super cheap, but it's worth it, and I highly, highly recommend it.

Catarina Jessica

Lisbon, Dec 2025

I’ve used Sofia’s chiropractic services for about 6 months and she’s fantastic. I started going once a week for 3 months, then twice a week for around 8 weeks, and now I go once a month, and I’ve seen really amazing results that helped me immensely. Her clinic is very well run, and she and her secretary speak fluent English, so it’s easy to explain what’s going on, make appointments, and reschedule. Appointments are kept, and the one time we needed to reschedule they called a day before with ample time, and the price feels fair and about the same as others I checked.

Frequently Asked Questions

What expats want to know before hiring chiropractors in Lisbon.

Are there English-speaking chiropractors in Lisbon?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring chiropractors in Lisbon?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
Are the doctors and dentists properly registered in Lisbon?
Yes. Doctors and dentists must be registered, with the relevant Ordem (Ordem dos Médicos or Médicos Dentistas) in Portugal. Reputable private clinics will confirm their professionals' registration.
What should I avoid when hiring chiropractors in Lisbon?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later. And never use someone who cannot show the right certification.
How do I explain what I need if my Portuguese is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say chiropractors in Portuguese?
In Portuguese, chiropractors are usually called quiropraticos. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find chiropractors I can trust in Lisbon?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
