Yannik

Barcelona, Sep 2025

We’ve worked with Claudia a few times for design - she created a custom emoji set, designed landing pages with several sub-pages, and made new ad visuals mainly for LinkedIn. Sometimes we gave her a PowerPoint-style draft or brand guidelines and she found new images, mixed in her own input, and presented everything nicely and professionally; the icons were clear for each topic and fit the brand. There were the usual small loops - we added sections later on a landing page once pricing became clear, and for a banking and finance client we swapped out too-many-suits photos to better target startups - but end customers were happy. Communication was fast, timelines were met, and the price felt fair compared to other agencies we’ve used.

Corina

Barcelona, Sep 2025

I hired her for designing my cocktail menu in my bar in Barcelona, and everything I asked her to do she did perfectly. We did a unique design and she added her touch; she was really easy to talk to and communicate my project to, and even though we didn't meet too much in person she understood what I wanted. I’ve been working with her since 2019 and she just ticks all the boxes. The quality and price were really good.

Philip

Barcelona, Oct 2025

I needed support with my fitness brand and she designed the logo and the marketing materials like flyers. I told her what I wanted and she got it right away, we only did a few small adjustments that she handled no problem, and she was super fast and stuck to the timeline, very on point. We met in person and even did a photo shoot on the beach for my trainings since she’s also a photographer, and communication was easy. The price felt like a great investment and not over the top, especially since she didn’t ask for extra for the little adjustments, so I’m super satisfied and she’s the first person I’d go to again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What expats want to know before hiring graphic designers in Madrid.

Are there English-speaking graphic designers in Madrid?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring graphic designers in Madrid?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring graphic designers in Madrid?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say graphic designers in Spanish?
In Spanish, graphic designers are usually called disenadores graficos. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find graphic designers I can trust in Madrid?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
