Madrid , Aug 2026

I've been training with Carlos since 2019, first in person and then hybrid, and we have had training non stop every week since then. He follows up my physical training routines both online and in person, in Madrid when I'm there and online when I'm traveling most of the time. One goal for me is consistency and being able to train on a regular basis, and that's definitely been met. The other is keeping myself healthy, and that's also something I've met by working out with him.

Madrid, Aug 2020

I’ve been training with Carlos and the team for five or six years, and it has been marvelous. They are very professional and very near, and in my case I trained with them in the location and also outside for running. I’m very happy with it, and the price feels fair.

Madrid, May 2024

I have been working with Carlos for the last 2 or 3 years for physiotherapy, and it has been pretty good for me. The exercises and home care instructions were very good and effective. He was always professional and respectful, and always on time. I do think the price was a bit higher than I expected, but overall I had a good experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What expats want to know before hiring physiotherapists in Madrid.

Are there English-speaking physiotherapists in Madrid?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring physiotherapists in Madrid?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
Are the doctors and dentists properly registered in Madrid?
Yes. Doctors and dentists must be registered, as colegiado with the relevant Colegio in Spain. Reputable private clinics will confirm their professionals' registration.
What should I avoid when hiring physiotherapists in Madrid?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later. And never use someone who cannot show the right certification.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say physiotherapists in Spanish?
In Spanish, physiotherapists are usually called fisioterapeutas. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find physiotherapists I can trust in Madrid?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
