I’ve been with them for around three years, and it has been pretty good. They are really good physio, very professional, and the space is nice. The service is very good and I’m super happy with them. I gladly give them a 10 for all criteria.

I engaged with them last month. I had a very fast and good experience with them because the team communicated very clearly. When I told them what I wanted, they gave very good advice, and the quality exceeded my expectation. The colors were very nice and comfy, and they were more affordable than I expected. I searched for other companies and they were the most affordable ones, I highly recommend them.

I hired Joyce mostly because the menus are customizable and the quality of the food is pretty good. The price felt competitive, and overall everything was pretty good. I did think they should improve the onsite service staff a bit, and some staff were not as professional as the rest. Other than the service staff, the rest was all right and I would hire them again.

What to know about health & medical in Singapore

Healthcare in Singapore is very good and mostly private at the point of use, so the thing to work out early is what you pay and who pays it. Doctors are registered with the Singapore Medical Council and dentists with the Singapore Dental Council, and both registers are public. Polyclinics are cheaper but subsidised rates go to citizens and permanent residents, so most newcomers use a private GP. If you have insurance, check whether a clinic is on your insurer's panel before you go, because that single question changes the bill more than anything else. Locallista lists doctors, dentists and specialists in Singapore, screened before listing and ranked only on phone-verified reviews.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check my doctor is properly registered?
Doctors appear on the Singapore Medical Council register and dentists on the Singapore Dental Council register, both searchable by name. It takes a minute and is worth doing for anything beyond a routine visit, particularly for aesthetic procedures where the person holding the device may not be the person you assumed.
Should I go to a polyclinic or a private GP?
Polyclinics cost less but the subsidised rates apply to citizens and permanent residents, and waits are longer. On a work pass or as a new arrival, a private GP is usually the practical choice for everyday things, and there are plenty of them in every neighbourhood.
Will my insurance cover the visit?
It depends on your plan and, more often, on whether the clinic is on your insurer's panel. Panel clinics can bill directly, while going outside the panel usually means paying first and claiming back, sometimes at a lower rate. Check the panel list before you book rather than at the counter.
Do I need a referral to see a specialist?
Not to be seen privately, but you generally do need one to get subsidised rates at a public hospital. Even privately, a GP referral is often worth having, because it gets your history in front of the specialist and can save you repeating tests you have already had.
Can I register with a GP as a foreigner?
Yes. Private clinics see anyone who walks in, and there is no registration or residency requirement. Bring your pass and your insurance details, and ask about the consultation fee up front so there are no surprises at the end.
