I went to Ibiza in July and Thomas organized everything for me. He knew the island really well, the hotels and locations and even the car rental, and set it up stage by stage for four days, and it was spectacular. My flight was delayed like 7 hours and I thought I would miss everything, but he contacted the hotel and the event, moved my party booking from 9 to 11 and I still got a table, so super practical and super reactive. I’m French and the communication was easy, the hotels he chose were not inside Ibiza but ended up super good, and the price felt worth it.

I was introduced to Vic about five years ago and since then she has helped me organize several trips. She planned my solo trip to Lisbon because I wanted to feel safe in a big city I don’t know and don’t speak Portuguese, and she also curated a Sardinia trip with friends where we went all around the island with boat trips, road trips, and amazing restaurants with beautiful food and wine. I also visited Tuscany thanks to her, and in Barcelona she personally showed me places I would never find on the map because she knows the city inside out. The itineraries were detailed with daily plans, car bookings, accommodation and restaurant recommendations so I didn’t need to look for anything, she really understands your needs, and the price felt fair and affordable to my budget.

I’ve known Thomas for over a year through the Transformational Travel Council, and I first worked with him as a customer before we later partnered up for work too. He understood what I wanted, was always there, and he’s very kind and very genuine. The price felt reasonable and the quality was just very good. I totally endorse what he does and think he’s a good fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What expats want to know before hiring travel agents in Barcelona.
Are there English-speaking travel agents in Barcelona?
Yes, and more do as the expat community grows. The hard part is knowing who is reliable before you book, so every one we list is reviewed by other expats who have actually used them.
What should I check before hiring travel agents in Barcelona?
Read recent reviews, be clear about exactly what you need, and agree the scope and an estimate in writing before any work starts. For anything regulated, check they hold the right credentials for the job.
What is the most important thing to know before booking?
Be clear about what you want and get the price and scope agreed up front, so there are no surprises. Reading other expats' reviews is the quickest way to find someone who does the job well and communicates clearly.
What should I avoid when hiring travel agents in Barcelona?
Avoid paying the full amount up front (a deposit can be fair), anyone who will not give a clear quote, and unusually cheap prices that get padded with extras later.
How do I explain what I need if my Spanish is limited?
A photo, a short video or a written list does most of the talking, and the professionals we list are used to international clients. Booking an English-speaking one takes the stress out of it entirely.
How do you say travel agents in Spanish?
In Spanish, travel agents are usually called agentes de viajes. That is the word to search for or to ask a neighbour, though many professionals here are used to the English term too.
How do I find travel agents I can trust in Barcelona?
Check the reviews and any credentials before you book. On Locallista the reviews are phone-verified and the ranking is based on real expat experience, not who paid the most.
